On one hand I was talking in comparison with Keith but also in the cases of songs that were not played with Keith, like Rooster and CC Rider how much Brent added after he established himself beyond the first couple years....In reference to Keith, Minglewood is another perfect example...it was like ging from two dimensional to 3D....if you will!

Now that clears it up RB, I get what your saying now! The Pats looked great the other night(I am not getting carried away I know it is preseason, just saying as for a 2nd preseason game) getting pumped for their opener and the B's are right around the corner. Did you hear felger's show the other day they had the guy who travels with the cup, he had some great stories about it! The sox/yanks in a dead heat. Great to be a NE fan now!

Agreed. Once he got comfortable with the band, he was a huge part of the dynamics within a song. Minglewood is a very very good example for Keith comparison. Aiko Aiko is a clear winner here as well. I also love his B3 work on Morning Dew as he really adds to the apocalyptic feel with those swells (is that what they are called?)

As far as piano, the 8-3-82 PeggyO comes to mind as a good example.

How bout China Cat for a song that I don't think he brought to the next level.
